!?!Private chest problems!?!

ok I'm having trouble with the things you can do with the signs on the chests! The ONLY thing i know is that you can put a sign on it and itll make it so only ME can oppen it but i don't know ANYTHING else      PLEASE HELP!!! I want to know almost EVERYTHING you can do with them!!! (and if you know everything about the or you think you know everything say it please!!!)

Step 1. Place Sign on Chest
Step 2. Right click sign with empty hand a message should appear
Step 3. Type in the following command: /lockette <line number> <name>

[Private] takes up the first line of the sign
[Your name] Takes up the second line of the sign
the 3rd and 4th line are open.

So your sign will say
[Private]

Now for doors you'll have to type [Private] and your Name(s) directly on the sign...

OH, I get it now. But What is a locket number?    And on a door do you like fullon type the WHOLE thing like [Private] Delirious888? and so a chest to get more ppl to be able to open it, "[Private] Delirious888 EnderSlayer105 froobynooby" So like that?
