Some things in Minecraft are meant to be rare, I get that. But these rare things are designed for one person in mind. These things that are supposed to be rare are extremely rare when on a server with other people.

I have noticed, that the ratio of ocean monuments to people who play the server is severely one-sided. There are barely any sponges to go around. Almost every ocean monument I go to is either looted or has no sponges. Just like someone has suggested with ink, can we think of some way to get more sponges on the server?

I have a way to do this: We adjust what guardians drop when killed, to be able to drop sponges on a rare occasion. This can be easily be done with a data pack. Similar to how Hermitcraft adjusts their shulkers to drop two shulker shells, or the enderdragon drop elytra.
And this is also only one way, there can be even more. like making villagers have this for a possible trade, and more.

I believe that this will help out with this kind of issue, help people create those amazing underwater bases, powerful mob farms, and save time.

SO I am planning on rejoining to play with you guys on 1.13, and I have some suggestions for commands and plugins.
Now, most of these can be created by command blocks. But others Are from Spigdet, like the luring and sign editing.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, I'm just throwing things out of here.
(most of these are from Hermitcraft )

1.     1-Player Sleeping
            This is just so not all people have to sleep at a time and we don't have to have everyone sleep at once

2.     Ender Dragon drops Elytra and Shulkers drop two shells
             This is just so it makes life easier to make Shulker Boxes an to get Elytra

3.     Custom Crafting
              When crafting stairs, you get 8 stars instead of 4. Any color wool can be dyed. Clay & Glass can be dyed from any color, they can also be undyed with ice. Combining two slabs in a crafting table will make a full block

4.     MobLeash (luring)
           this is a plugin that would allow you to lease more mobs, like villagers and monsters. I am planning on working with villagers this "season" and I feel like this is a really helpful thing.
   4 1/2.      Maybe Villager luring were they follow emeralds or emerald blocks 

5.     Sign Editing
            When you right-click on signs you can edit them.

I tried to put things here that would make it still feel like vanilla, and just make the quality of life improvements.

Hey Guys! I don't know if you remember me or not, but I used to be an everyday player a couple years back on the 1.8 server, and I just wanted to see how everyone was doing! I recently just crossed some stepping stones in my life and I am debating if I should get back into Minecraft again

I do remember that at the end of the 1.8 server I was banned for something (can't remember) but I think that was the main reason I had left 

Looking at this site is making me really nostalgic about the good ol' days   

Just the thing is since you guys are so far into this season I wouldn't know where to start 

Anyways, it was nice to take a trip back to the past, and hope to talk again!

Will the new 1.9 world map be updated? so the world border gets bigger, and beyond the original border is 1.9? Or are we going to get a completely new map, and if so, will everyone be reset of rank? Also, will the ip be different? And (last question) does anyone know when the world update will happen? Thanks!

I had a brilliant idea the other day fr the server, I thought that if you type into a sing [warp] and then coordinates, then if you right click the sign, it will tp you there! And then, you can right click on the sign and it does a orange text (like when you right click a private chest sign) and you can give a custom name for the warp. I think this would be awesome, right after i post this, i will try to find a plugin that will let people do that for a suggestion.

I am building an Iron farm that will provide enough iron for everyone on the server! It is called the Iron Titan! And it needs to be in the spawn chunks  , and I need promision to be ably to build there  , also, so the people that join the server wont see it, i want to build it underground  . I also will have help with my friend SlimeApplePie, I know him personaly from my school, and we are best friends. I would realy love to have premision to build under the spawn chunks for the Iron Titan! PLEASE! Let me buld this for the server . And the worp would be (I think) /warp irontitan, or, /warp ironlion !PLEASE FROOB! Let me build this for the server!

when i look on the server map on my computer wile not playing minecraft, there is a chat it says on the page. i clike on that and it has all of this information that i need to fill out to chat on the map. What is this info? how do i chat?

Yes I know what you guys/girls are thinking(I think) "Wow this guys is posting ALOT of stuff!" and yes thats true but only 3 (Not including this 1)

But I think that there should be more than JUST 2 homes! Me personally think it it so anoying when you have to travle all over the place but like have 5 homes!

1 for my house
2 for my shop
3 for my farm
4 for my other farm (I'm making 1 right now! FULLY-Atomatic ) 
5 for something just in case! 

So thats what i think should be changed,I would be sooo happy if you do this for the server!
