I was thinking about it the other day, and what if we got a plugin that relayed chat back and forth between the Minecraft server and the Discord server? We could have a separate channel on the Discord where in-game chat flows back and forth.
This would allow it to easily chat with those in-game without having to join the server just to do so (I know there is a dynmap but sometimes it isn't ideal, plus no backlog.) It would also allow moderators to quickly answer questions without having to login to the Minecraft server.

If someone who is an admin on the discord sets up a bot and channel for this, I would be happy to set up the plugin
It seems like in order to set up the bot in the first place, i'd need access to the server files. easiest way for this to be done is you joining the discord server.

Now all we need is a webhook (probably using RSS) to notify Discord of new posts.
